The approved development program for the revitalized park included two playgrounds, a restroom <br />pavilion, picnic shelters, an interactive water feature, a 15-foot-wide waterfront promenade and a new stair <br />tower to connect the site to the bridge leading over to the City’s beachfront area. Since the City has limited <br />intracoastal waterfront access, one of the primary goals for the park’s redevelopment was to increase public <br />access to the water. This was accomplished by incorporating a small marina along the north shoreline of the <br />park and a floating dock along the east shoreline for safely launching paddle boards and kayaks into the water. <br />Through meetings with City staff and neighboring residents, a final concept design was selected and approved <br />by the CRA. <br />b. <br />(1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) <br />SW 4th.
