Russo, City Manager <br /> FROM: Audra Curts-Whann, Finance Director <br /> DATE: 7/21/2016 <br /> 2016/2017 Proposed Ad Valorem Tax Millage Levy and <br /> RE' Schedule of Public Hearings <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Approve the Resolution establishing a proposed ad valorem tax rate for <br /> 2016/2017 and set the schedule of public hearings to consider the <br /> proposed millage rate and tentative budget. <br /> REASONS: <br /> In accordance with Florida Statute 200.065, the City received the July 1 <br /> "Certification of 2016 Taxable Value."
