<br /> <br />EXTRA-DUTY RATES <br />Sunny Isles Beach Police Department <br />Effective Date: Apri/1, 2008 <br /> <br />Police Officer <br />$48.00 per hour <br /> <br />The fee covers the payment to the officers in addition to mandatory cost of <br />workmen's compensation, contributions to the Florida Retirement System, <br />Medicare, social security and other administrative fees. <br /> <br />Police Supervisor <br />$52.00 per hour <br /> <br />3 or more officers require a supervisor or designated supervisor. <br /> <br />The fee covers the payment to the officers in addition to mandatory cost of <br />workmen's compensation, contributions to the Florida Retirement System, <br />Medicare, social security and other administrative fees. <br /> <br />Any Extra Duty details that fall on a city observed holiday will be <br />billed at the rate of $72.00 per hour. <br /> <br />The following is a list of the observed holidays. <br /> <br />New Years Day <br />Martin Luther King's Birthday <br />Presidents Day <br />Memorial Day <br />Independence Day <br />Labor Day <br />Veterans Day <br />Thanksgiving Day <br />Day after Thanksgiving <br />Christmas Day <br />
