Grandinetti, Captain <br /> <br />4/15/20 I 0 <br /> <br />Approval to enter into an agreement with Peterson's Harley Davidson, Miamifor <br />the lease of four (4) police motorcycles and equipment, in the amount of one <br />thousand, nine hundred dollars ($1900,00) per month for twenty four (24) <br />months, <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution authorizing the Mayor <br />to enter into a 24 month agreement with Peterson's Harley-Davidson, Miami, to provide lease <br />services to the City of Sunny Isles Beach Police Department for Police Motorcycles and <br />equipment. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />The Sunny Isles Beach Police Department will piggyback the 2008 Lease Agreement between the <br />City of Doral Police Department and Peterson's Harley-Davidson of Miami. <br /> <br />Peterson's Harley-Davidson of Miami currently provides services to several police departments <br />in Miami-Dadc County to include; Bal Harbour, Bay Harbor. Coral Gables, Doral, North Miami <br />Beach, South Miami and the University of Miami Police Departments, <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> <br />Peterson's Harley-Davidson, Miami's lease proposal includes; all police equipment (Lights, Siren <br />and Storage Box) all tires and maintenance for $475,00 per month. per motorcycle, Petcrson's <br />Harley-Davidson, Miamiwill also provide loaner police motorcycles during repair and <br />maintenance. <br /> <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br /> <br />Police Budget; Equipment Rental Account # 10.521-5441 <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />.
