<br /> <br />Sunny Isles Beach <br />Educational Facilities Element <br />for educational facilities, shall ensure that eXistmg deficiencies are <br />addressed and the capacity of schools is sufficient to support residential <br />development at the adopted level of service (LOS) standards throughout <br />the planning period in the 5-year schedule of capital improvements. <br /> <br />2F. The Miami-Dade County Public Schools Facilities Work Program d.a.te.d <br />September 2007 will be evaluated on an annual basis to ensure that the <br />level of service standards will continue to be achieved and maintained <br />throughout the planning period. <br /> <br />2G. At a minimum. the City in coni unction with Miami-Dade County Public <br />Schools shall adoot the annual uodates. addin2: a fifth veaL to the Miami- <br />Dade County Public Schools Facilities Work Pro2:ram. uodate the <br />financiallv feasible schools caoital facilities work oro2:ram. and coordinate <br />caoital facilities with the Work Pro2:ram. Additionally. the City shall <br />coordinate its Comorehensive Plan with the Plans of other local <br />2:ovemments. <br /> <br />2H. The City shall adoot as an annual uodate to the Comorehensive Plan <br />uodates to the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Facilities Work <br />Pr02:ram. <br /> <br />Objective 3 <br /> <br />Obtain suitable sites for the development and expansion of public education <br />facilities, <br /> <br />Monitoring Measures 3 <br />Objective 3 will be monitored through the annual inventory and assessment by <br />Miami-Dade County Public Schools of School Board owned property. The number <br />of new sites shall be reported annually and in the full review period reported in the <br />EAR. <br /> <br />Policies <br /> <br />3A. It is the policy of the City that Miami-Dade County Public Schools shall not <br />purchase sites for schools nor build new schools outside of the Urban <br />Development Boundary (UDB) , and that new elementary schools <br />constructed should be located at least 1/4 mile inside the UDB; new middle <br />schools should be located at least 1/2 mile inside the UDB, and: new senior <br /> <br />8 <br />
