<br /> <br />0' ~u" <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />NOTICE OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE <br /> <br />The City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach proposes to adopt the following Ordinance: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA <br />AMENDING THE CITY'S ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY <br />ADDING A PUBLIC SCHOOL FACILITIES ELEMENT AND AMENDING <br />THE CAPITAL COORDINATION ELEMENT; AND THE <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATION ELEMENT; PROVIDING <br />FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR <br />INCLUSION IN THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Commission, in its capacity as the Local Planning Agency, <br />will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, September 18, 2008, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as <br />possible, at in the Commission Chambers, Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, 18070 Collins A venue, <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider and make recommendations <br />to the City Commission, in its capacity as the governing body of the City, regarding the Ordinance <br />described above. <br /> <br />PLEASE NOTE: the City Commission will hold a Public Hearing and Second Reading of the Ordinance <br />on Thursday, September 18,2008, immediately following the meeting of the Local Planning Agency, at <br />the Commission Chambers, Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, 18070 Collins Avenue, Florida. The <br />Ordinance in its entirety may be inspected at the Office of the City Clerk during regular working hours. <br /> <br />Persons wishing to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter <br />considered at such hearing will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose may need to ensure <br />that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon the <br />appeal is based. <br /> <br />Any and all interested parties may appear at the above meeting and be heard with respect to the proposed <br />items. <br /> <br />Persons with disabilities requiring accommodations in order to participate should contact the City Clerk at <br />(305)-792-1703 at least three business days in advance to request such accommodations. if hearing <br />impaired, please telephone the TDD line at 305-792-1590 for assistance. <br /> <br />Jane A.
