<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98- 3~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, <br />EXPRESSING THE CITY'S OPPOSITION TO THE FLORIDA <br />LEGISLA TURE'S HOUSE BILL 3291 RELATING TO THE CREATION OF <br />THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS RIGHTS-OF-WAY ACT; PROVIDING <br />FOR TRANSMITTAL; PROVIDING FOR AN KFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, members of the Florida House of Representatives have filed House Bill 3291 <br />relating to the creation of the Telecommunications Rights-of-Way Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Florida League of Cities has expressed concerns regarding passage of the <br />Bill and its impact on municipal rights-of-way; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the City Commission hereby expresses its opposition to the adoption of House <br />Bill 3291 relating to the creation of the Telecommunications Rights-of-Way Act. <br /> <br />Section 2.
