<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> <br />17070 Collins Avenue, Suite 250 <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />(305) 947-0606 Phone (305) 947-4386 Fax <br /> <br />February 4, 1998 <br /> <br />Richard Brown <br />6100 Pine Tree Drive <br />Miami Beach, FL 33140 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Brown <br /> <br />Subject to confirmation of the City Commission, it is a pleasure to address your employment agreement <br />regarding salary and benefit changes as follows: $50,000 annual rate of pay from March 1, 1998 through <br />September 30, 1998, lmd the salary rate from October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999 will be <br />$53,000, The City will pay the premiums for your employee health, dental and $25,000 life insurance <br />policies The CIty will pay 10% above base salary into a 401 Plan, with 100% immediate vesting, You <br />will earn vacation at the rate of three weeks per year and sick time at 12 days annually (both retroactive <br />to 01/01/98) Currently Sunny Isles Beach is honoring all national holidays, A formal holiday schedule <br />WIll be established in the next 60 days (10 to 13 days per year as determined by the City Commission) <br /> <br />In accordance with the City Charter, you serve at the pleasure of1he City Commission, In the event the <br />City Commission wishes to terminate the City Clerk, it shall do so in accordance with Section 3,1 (b) of <br />the City Charter.
