<br />BALLOT TABLE PROCEDURES <br /> <br />1. Greet the elector. If demonstrations are being given at the Ballot Table. ask the <br />elector, "Would you like a demonstration?" (See Demonstration Procedures on <br />page 5.) <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />2. Ask elector for identification containing elector's name, current address. and <br />signature such as: <br />a. Voter's Registration Identification card <br />b. Florida Driver's License <br /> <br />3. Locate the name in precinct register and call the name aloud. If the name is not <br />in the precinct register, direct the elector to the Clerk. <br /> <br />4. Ask "What Is your current address!" verify it against the precinct register. If <br />the address is different. direct the elector to the Clerk. <br /> <br />5. Direct the elector to sign the precinct register. <br /> <br />6. Compare the signature in the precinct register with the signature on their <br />identification. If it differs. call the Clerk. <br /> <br />7. PRIMARY ELECTIONS <br />Issue one of the following: <br />White Ballot (OEM - Democratic) <br />Blue Striped Ballot (REP - Republican) <br />Green Striped Ballot (OTHER - No Party Affiliation or Minor party) <br />ALL OTHER ELECTIONS -Issue a white ballot. <br /> <br />8. Initial ballot stub. <br /> <br />9. Enter ballot number on precinct register. <br /> <br />to. TeU the elector to turn the ballot card over after voting to ensure it was properly <br />punched. Ask them to follow the instructions on the sign posted inside the <br />votomatic. <br /> <br />t t. Place the ballot card on top of the secrecy envelope. <br /> <br />t 2. Remind the elector to place the ballot inside the secrecy envelope after checking <br />the back to ensure it was properly punched. After voting they should return the <br />ballot to the inspector at the ballot box. <br /> <br />t 3.
