To: City Commission <br />From: Lynn Dannheisser, <br />City Attorney <br />Date: May 28, 1998 <br />Subject: RESOLUTION ON AUTHORIZING EXTENSION <br />OF INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH METROPOLITAN <br />DADE COUNTY <br />T7TiTiJUVISH-1WONKi]kki <br />It is recommended that the City Commission adopt this Resolution authorizing the <br />extension of the Interlocal Agreement with Metropolitan Dade County. <br />REASONS <br />Attached please find correspondence by and between the City and the County relating <br />to an extension or renewal for the second renewal period of the Interlocal Agreement. <br />The County has requested the City Commission authorize by Resolution an extension <br />of this Interlocal pursuant to the terms of the original agreement attached as Exhibit <br />"A" to the Resolution. This will enable the County to continue providing services <br />until the agreed upon transition for all services which will occur on August 1, 1998. <br />(As you may recall, Code Enforcement, Planning Building and Zoning was transferred <br />as of March 2, 1998.) <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />94--V-� <br />LMD:ch <br />Attachment(s) <br />0 <br />
