RESOLUTION NO. 394 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE. COUNCn. OF INDIAN CREEK VILLAGE, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE MUTUAL AID AGREEMENTS AS PROVIDED FOR IN FLORIDA MUTUAL AID ACT, CODIFIED IN PART I, CHAPTER 23, FLORIDA STATUTES. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF INDIAN CREEK, FLORIDA, THAT: WHEREAS, because of the existing and continuing possibility of occurrence of natural or man-made disasters or emergencies or other major law enforcement problems, including those that cross jurisdictional lines, and in order to ensure that preparations in the State of Florida will be adequate to deal with such activity, protect the public peace and safety, and preserve the lives and property of the people of the State of Florida; and WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature has found and declared it necessary to create a state law enforcement mutual aid plan, which provides for the command and coordination of law enforcement planning, operations, and mutual aid. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCn. OF INDIAN CREEK VILLAGE, FLORIDA, THAT: Section I. The Village Manager is hereby authorized on behalf of Indian Creek Village to enter into mutual aid agreements with other municipalities and/or counties, as provided for in ~ 23.1225 of the Florida Statutes ("Agreements"). Section 2. That prior to entering into any Agreements it shall be approved as to form and legal sufficiency by the Village Attorney. Section 3. All Agreements shall become effective on the date they are executed by all parties. Section 4. All Agreements executed on or befo're February 6, 1997 are hereby ratified and approved, nunc pro tunc, as of the date of their execution.
