The committee is designed to work with the <br />Commission to develop information and recommendations in various areas. <br />Specifically, this advisory committee, is, by law, subject to the Sunshine laws, and <br />will be composed as follows: <br />Each Commissioner will submit a slate of five candidates within 14 days of the <br />passage of this Resolution. From each slate, no later than 30 days from the date of <br />this Resolution, the Mayor will select three of the five proposed members. Upon <br />acceptance in writing by such members and a submission to the City Clerk of the <br />required disclosure forms, the committee will be seated. <br />The committee's function will be threefold: to serve as a lay recommending body, <br />relative to the preparation of the City's comprehensive plan, its land development <br />regulations and to be responsible for following state, local and federal government <br />trends in which the City of Sunny Isles Beach might be interested. <br />The committee shall be governed by the same rules of procedure as adopted by this <br />Commission. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />LMD:ch <br />Attachment <br />
