April 27, 1994 <br />0 <br />insurance letters shall be filed and maintained at the Division <br />headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida. <br />B. "REQUESTING PARTY" - the participating government <br />entity requesting aid in the event of an emergency. Each <br />municipality must coordinate requests for state or federal <br />emergency response assistance through its county. <br />C. "ASSISTING PARTY" - the participating government entity <br />furnishing equipment, services and/or manpower to the Requesting <br />Party. <br />D. "AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE" - an employee of a <br />participating government authorized in writing by that government <br />to request, offer, or provide assistance under the terms of this <br />Agreement. The list of authorized representatives for the <br />participating government executing this Agreement shall be <br />attached as Appendix A to the executed copy of the Agreement <br />supplied to the Division, and shall be updated as needed by each <br />participating government. <br />E. "DIVISION" - the State of Fi nYi rya _ Tlcr,nrt-mn„4- -4 <br />Community Affairs, Division of Emergency Management. <br />F. "EMERGENCY" - any occurrence, or threat thereof, <br />whether natural, or caused by man, in war or in peace, which <br />results or may result in substantial injury or harm to the <br />population or substantial damage to or loss of property. <br />4 <br />
