SUNNY ISLES BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />�f 11�4 <br />MEMORANDUM <br />To: Mayor and City Commission Date: November 29, 1999 <br />From: Fred Maas, Subject: Grant Application Approval <br />Chief of Police <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approve a resolution to approve the <br />application of a Block Grant from the Bureau of Community Assistance Law <br />Enforcement. <br />REASONS: <br />The State of Florida is offering a Block Grant for our city for the sum of $1,000 to <br />further the goals of the organization in law enforcement. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />This money will be used for overtime worked in the development of our new police <br />procedural manual. <br />
