<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 207 <br /> <br />,- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE <br />REQUEST OF COMMISSIONER IGLESIAS, AND <br />COMMISSIONER KAUFFMAN FOR FUNDING FOR <br />PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED FROM AVAILABLE BUDGETED <br />SPECIAL EVENTS FUNDING; PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the aforementioned Commissioners have requested the City Commission to <br />authorize funding for the projects enumerated and attached hereto as Schedule "A"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission has previously authorized in Resolution No. 2000- <br />192, adopted February 24, 2000, the City Manager to apply for grants from the Miami-Dade <br />Cultural Affairs Council; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorization of the City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to <br />implement the projects set forth in Exhibit "A", seek appropriate sponsorship and <br />set dates when appropriate for the implementation of said projects. <br /> <br />Section 2. Effective Date.
