<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2000- 2.."''=> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES <br />BEACH TENTATIVE AD VALOREM TAX MILLAGE LEVY <br />RATE AT 2.500 MILLS PER ONE THOUSAND ($1000) <br />DOLLARS OF TAXABLE ASSESSED VALUE WHICH IS <br />14.521 PERCENT GREATER THAN THE "ROLLED BACK" <br />RATE OF 2.183 MILLS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2000/2001; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County, Florida, served upon the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach a "Certification of 2000 Taxable Value"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 200.065, F.S., the City of Sunny Isles Beach has furnished <br />to the County Property Appraiser, the proposed millage rate, and the date, time and place at which <br />public hearings will be held to consider the proposed millage rate and tentative budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Commission, by motion, agreed to establish the proposed millage rate at <br />2.500 mills per one thousand; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Commission must first establish a tentative millage rate prior to <br />consideration of adoption of a proposed budget; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The tentative millage rate is hereby established as 2.500 per One Thousand ($1000) <br />Dollars of assessed value of the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
