The unique design and internal locking systems combine to make compromise virtually impossible. Model 95 housings feature a larger coin vault to reduce collection frequency. LOWER HOUSING (Single and Duplex) . Compatible with all Duncan electronic and mechanical mechanisms. . Ductile iron upper housing with high impact damage resistant domes and high security internal locking mechanism. . Contoured ductile iron lower housing with high security internal locking mechanism for maximum revenue security. . Expanded coin capacity . Coin box cradle guide insures proper replacement and alignment of the coin box to again receive coins before the vault door is re-locked. . High security locks . Sealed, expanded capacity coin box . Variety of colors UPPER HOUSING (Single and Duplex) . Constructed of ductile iron with a minimum tensile strength of 53,000 psi and a minimum of .280 inches nominal wall thickness. . Housing cap assembly has four machined, interlocking lugs. The lugs butt against machined slots in the lower mechanism housing to insure a tight fit when in the locked position. . Clearance between the mechanism cap assembly and the mechanism housing does not exceed .030 inches. . Locking assembly consists of a hardened steel investment casting which engages integral cast lugs in the housing cap assembly and is directly operated by the pin tumbler lock without the use of levers or springs. . Integrated locking bar shield . Top of the mechanism housing contains a shoulder .100 inches in depth and .125 inches in height to prevent breakage or suc- cessful entry by prying between the two major assemblies. . Cap assembly, when in place, overlaps the raised lip of the lower housing. . Cap assembly, when properly locked and in place, is secured to the lower housing assembly at four points and kept from releas- ing by the locking bar at no less than two different points. Back pressure on the locking bar does not put any direct pressure on the lock plug itself. . Access to the upper housing is gained through a separate lock combination and key and does not allow access to the lower housing. DOME . Dome lens is a one-piece lens made of high impact polycarbonate material and sealed into place on the lower portion of the lens. Made in USA . Lower housing is a one-piece integral casting constructed of ductile iron. . Lower housing has a round door opening machined to a close tolerance providing a close fit of the vault door. . Lower housing door is on the front of the lower housing. . Lower housing door is hinged internally to the lower housing. . Tolerance between the lower housing door diameter and the lower housing door opening does not exceed .030 inches. . Lower housing door, when open, positions the coin box at an approximate 45 degree angle to permit easy removal, collection and self aligning replacement. . Locked lower housing door is secured to the lower housing by two opposing cam activated hardened steel bars. . Access to the coin compartment is gained through a lock and key combination different from the upper housing. No physical portion of the lock is exposed outside the meter housing. . Key entrance is through a deep pick resistant corridor, through the door to the lock. The key-way corridor is at least 15/32" inches deep from the outside surface of the doors key-way to the face of the lock. . Lower housing has a minimum of .280 inches nominal wall thickness. PAINT . Meter parts are processed through a five stage clean/iron phosphate system prior to paint. . Meter parts are painted using a powder paint system which applies a polyester TGIC powder paint electro-statically at a thickness of 2.5 - 3.5 Mils.
