RESOLUTION NO. 2001 - 340 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING A CHANGE ORDER, REGARDING THE CONTRACT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND CHOICE HIRE FOR HUMAN RESOURCES SERVICES, AS OUTLINED IN EXHIBIT "A", ATTACHED HERETO, INCREASING SERVICES AND THE AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION BY $4,680.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE SAID CHANGE ORDER; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City staff of Sunny Isles Beach has grown to one hundred plus (100+) full and part time employees, and the City has the need for various human resource services; and WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2000-295, on December 14, 2000, authorizing the expenditure of $21 ,850 for human resource services from Choice Hire; and WHEREAS, Choice Hire was authorized to complete 45 job descriptions at $195 each, and in the process, were also asked to produce an additional 24 job descriptions; and WHEREAS, Choice Hire has agreed to complete the additional 24 job descriptions at the same rate of$195 each, totaling an additional $4,680.00, as outlined in the attached Exhibit "A". NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approval of Change Order. A change order is hereby approved, regarding the existing contract by and between the City of Sunny Isles Beach and Choice Hire, increasing the services and the compensation by the amount of Four Thousand Six Hundred Eighty Dollars ($4,680.00), according to the terms outlined in Exhibit "A". Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized do all things necessary to effectuate the agreement. Section 3. Effective Date.
