<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-.3 Sic <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES <br />BEACH PROPOSED AD VALOREM TAX MILLAGE LEVY <br />RATE AT 2.650 MILLS PER ONE THOUSAND ($1,000) <br />DOLLARS OF TAXABLE ASSESSED VALUE WHICH IS <br />12.958 PERCENT GREATER THAN THE "ROLLED BACK" <br />RATE OF 2.346 MILLS, FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001/2002; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County, Florida, served upon the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach a "Certification of2001 Taxable Value"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 200.065, F.S., the City of Sunny Isles Beach has furnished <br />the County Property Appraiser, the tentative millage rate, and the date, time and place at which <br />public hearings will be held to consider the proposed millage rate and tentative budget; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 31,2001, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2001-350, <br />establishing the tentative ad valorem tax millage levy rate at 2.650 mills per one thousand dollars of <br />taxable assessed value; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The proposed millage rate is hereby established as 2.650 per One Thousand ($1,000) <br />Dollars of assessed property value in the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
