<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 315 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING A <br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH BEISWENGER, HOCH AND <br />ASSOCIATES, INC. (BH&A), FOR PHOTOGRAMMETRIC AND <br />MAPPING SERVICES OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY-ONE THOUSAND THREE <br />HUNDRED FORTY-THREE DOLLARS ($51,343.00), ATTACHED <br />HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER <br />THE AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO <br />EFFECTUATE THE AGREEMENT; PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is in need of photogrammetric and <br />mapping services for a variety of reasons; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach desires to enter into a Consultant <br />Agreement with Beiswenger, Hoch and Associates, Inc. (BH&A), and BH&A has been <br />previously "qualified" to provide engineering services to the City via Resolution No. 99- <br />176; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this agreement will result in maps being made that can be printed at <br />varying scales with dimensions, and survey information can be imposed onto the aerial <br />photos; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, photogrammetric and mapping services are important for the <br />comprehensive planning, upgrading, and maintenance of the entire City infrastructure; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the entire compensation to the Consultant for its services to the <br />City, shall be the sum of Fifty-One Thousand Three Hundred Forty-Three Dollars <br />($51,343.00). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approval of Consultant Agreement. The Consultant Agreement between <br />the City of Sunny Isles Beach and Beiswenger, Hoch and Associates, Inc., for <br />photogrammetric and mapping services, in an amount of Fifty-One Thousand Three <br />Hundred Forty-Three Dollars ($51,343.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A", is hereby <br />approved. <br /> <br />R2001- Consultant Agreement with BH&A <br />
