<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, <br />REAPPOINTING JUDGE MARSHALL ADER (RETIRED), <br />JUDGE ROBERT NEWMAN (RETIRED), AND DARCEE <br />SIEGEL AS SPECIAL MASTERS, FOR A PERIOD OF ONE <br />YEAR, IN ACCORDANCE WITH ORDINANCE NO. 2001-141; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 4 of Ordinance No. 2001-141 provides that appointments of Special <br />Masters shall be made by the City Manager, as needed, on the basis of experience for a term of one <br />year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Ordinance provides that reappointments shall be submitted to the City <br />Commission for ratification; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Judge Marshall Ader (retired), Judge Robert Newman (retired), and Darcee <br />Siegel were previously appointed last year, and they have acted as Special Masters for other <br />municipalities in Miami-Dade County; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Reappointments. The City Manager's reappointments of Judge Marshall Ader <br />(retired), Judge Robert Newman (retired), and Darcee Siegel as Special Masters, for a period of one <br />year, are hereby ratified by the City Commission, in accordance with Code Enforcement Ordinance <br />No. 2001-141. <br /> <br />Section 2. Effective Date.
