<br />taxes, less applicable trade discounts; <br /> <br />.2 Contractor's costs for unloading and handling at the site, labor, installation costs, overhead, profit and other expenses <br />contemplated for stated allowance amounts shall be included in the Contract Sum but not in the allowances; <br /> <br />.3 whenever costs are more than or less than allowances, the Contract Sum shall be adjusted accordingly by Change <br />Order. The amount of the Change Order shall reflect (1) the difference between actual costs and the allowances <br />under Clause 3.8.2.1 and (2) changes in Contractor's costs under Clause 3.8.2.2. <br /> <br />3.8.3 Materials and equipment under an allowance shall be selected by the Owner in sufficient time to avoid delay in the Work. <br /> <br />3.9 SUPERINTENDENT <br />3.9.1 The Contractor shall employ a competent superintendent and necessary assistants who ~hilU be in attendance at the <br />Project site during performance of the Work. The superintendent shall represent the Contractor, and conununicatioos given to the <br />superintendent shall be as binding as if given to the Contractor. Important connnunications shall be confirmed in writing. The Contractor <br />acknowled~es that failure to coq>lete the proiect within the consbuction time set forth in the approved schedule may result in <br />substantial da~es to the Owner. for all of which dama~estheContractor shall be liable within Contractor's sCQpe of <br />re~nsibility. <br /> <br />3.10.2 The Contractor shall prepare and keep current, for the Architect's approval, a schedule of submittals which is coordinated <br />with the Contractor's construction schedule and allows the Architect reasonable time to review submittals. <br /> <br />3.10.3 The Contractor shall perform the Work in general accordance with the most recent schedules submitted to the Owner and <br />Architect. <br /> <br />3.11 DOCUMENTS AND SAMPLES AT THE SITE <br />3.11.1 The Contractor shall maintain at the site for the Owner one record copy of the Drawings, Specifications, Addenda, <br />Change Orders and other Modifications, in good order and marked currently to record field changes and selections made during <br />construction, and one record copy of approved Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples and similar required submittals. 1bese <br />shan be available to the Architect and shall be delivered to the Architect for submittal to the Owner upon completion of the Work. <br /> <br />3.12 SHOP DRAWINGS, PRODUCT DATA AND SAMPLES <br />3.12.1 Shop Drawings are drawings, diagrams, schedules and other data specially prepared for the Work by the Contractor or a <br />Subcontractor, Sub-subcontractor, manufacturer, supplier or distributor to illustrate some portion of the Work. <br /> <br />3.12.2 Product Data are illustrations, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams and other <br />information furnished by the Contractor to illustrate materials or equipment for some portion of the Work. <br /> <br />3.12.3 Samples are physical examples which illustrate materials, equipment or workmanship and establish standards by which <br />the Work will be judged. <br /> <br />3.12.4 She, Dra'.viRgs, Preda6t Data, 8alHflles ad similar seaUtlals are Ret CaBRet De6aRl8ms Shop Drawinis.
