First Street, Suite 1610
Miami, Florida 33128 -1970
Dear Mr. Hernandez:
The City of Sunny Isles Beach would like the County's permission to use a small portion
of County right -of -way along the eastern side of Collins Avenue at the northern end of
Hau!over Park, just as you enter the City. We would like to install an entrance sign
welcoming people to the City in this area, and the median is not wide enough for sign
placement. It appears that we would only need to relocate a small section of split rail
fencing to accomplish this project.
Please advise as to what documentation you require to secure permission for this sign
placement, which would be outside of FDOT right -of -way.
We look forward to working with you on this important project.
Very trul y urs,
ristopher J. usso
City Manager
CJR/pw
cc: The Honorable Senator Gwen Margolis, Chair
Miami -Dade County Board of Commissioners
George Fisher, Grants Coordinator
Attachments
MDC - Right -Of -Way Use Req Memo
