Russo

Carroll Buracker, President
Carroll Buracker and Associates, Inc.
1881 College Avenue, Suite 100
Harrisonburg, Virginia 2280 I

December 2, 1993

Dear Carroll,

I know this letter is long overdue, however I feel as if we haven't stopped benefitting
from your expertise and guidance.

'~

Our relationship extends over a five year period. During this time you have
provided us with a complete management study of our Police Department and a thorough
review of the Village's options for the provision of fire service in the future. The
implementation of recommendations from the Police Study is an active process, going on this
very day. For the first time we are into serious discussion concerning the long term
establishment of fire service for the Village. Your thoroughness and attention to detail
related to the nuances of each study was exceptional. The research for the fire study related
to situations in other surrounding communities was extraordinary in that the concept of
sharing services was explored. We were very impressed with both the depth of your
knowledge and the presentations made !)oth internally and publicly.

Your policy of keeping in touch during either the implementation or review process
has been a tremendous benefit to us. I know you have put in much more time than the scope
of services for both projects intended.

On behalf of the Village Board and the entire Rye Brook community. I want to thank
you for a multitude of jobs well done. I look forward to our continuing relationship and
dialogue on municipal matters.

~"'~

Very truly yours,

d~/~

Christopher 1.
