<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING A
<br />CONSULTANT AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE
<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND THE FIRM OF
<br />CALVIN, GIORDANO, AND ASSOCIATES, INC., TO
<br />PROVIDE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
<br />MANAGEMENT, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE
<br />HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($100,000.00)
<br />ANNUALLY, ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A";
<br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
<br />CONTRACT WITH THE FIRM OF CALVIN, GIORDANO &
<br />ASSOCIATES, INC.; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
<br />DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City issued RFQ No, 02-11-01 for General Municipal Contract Services
<br />consisting of Planning & Zoning activities, Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Landscape
<br />Architecture, Geographic Information Systems and Capital Improvement Program Management; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc" was the sole respondent to said RFQ and
<br />has been qualified by the City Commission; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to contract with Calvin, Giordano, and Associates, Inc" for
<br />Capital Improvement Program Management services, in an amount not to exceed $100,000,00
<br />annually, attached hereto as Exhibit "A",
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />Section 1, Approval of Consultant Agreement. The Consultant Agreement by and between the
<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach and Calvin, Giordano, and Associates, Inc, to provide Capital
<br />Improvement Program Management, in the amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars
<br />($100,000,00) annually, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", be, and the same, is hereby approved,
<br />
<br />Section 2, City Manager Authorized to Execute, The City Manager is hereby authorized to
<br />execute the Consultant Agreement and to take whatever action is required to effectuate the proposed
<br />terms and conditions contained in said Exhibit "A",
<br />
<br />Section 3,

<br />Effective Date, This Resolution is effective upon passage,
<br />
<br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of February 2003,
