<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003- 53l <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL <br />AGREEMENT FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL FACILITY PLANNING IN MIAMI- <br />DADE COUNTY BETWEEN THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND <br />THE SCHOOL BOARD, ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />WITH THE AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO <br />EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County, Cities, and the school Board have entered in the Interlocal <br />Agreement for Public School Facility Planning in Miami-Dade County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The County, Cities and the School Board agree that certain non-substantive <br />refinements to the Agreement are appropriate to improve the process contemplated in the <br />Agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Paragraph 16 of the Interlocal Agreement provides that the School Board <br />may enter into Supplementary Agreements with municipalities to address certain concerns; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the School Board and the City desire to enter into this Supplemental <br />Agreement, addressing certain non-substantive matters on which the parties have reached <br />agreement. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approval of Supplemental A2reement. The City Commission hereby approves <br />the Supplemental Agreement for Public School Facility Planning in Miami-Dade <br />County between the City of Sunny Isles Beach and the School Board, attached <br />hereto as Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Authoritv of City Mana2er and City Attornev. The City Manager and the City <br />Attorney is directed to effectuate this policy by any means necessary. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
