X305) 947-2150Building Department Lynn M.Dannheisser,GryAttorney <br /> Jane Hiner, Acting City Clerk <br /> OF 5O X305) 949-5107 Fax <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> To: The Honorable Mayor and City Corrunission <br /> Front Jorge L.Vera,Zoning Direct <br /> Date: May 6,2003 <br /> Re: Waiver of Plat <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached Resolution approving the Waiver <br /> of Plat for the property located at 17001 Collins Avenue. <br /> REASONS <br /> The applicant is seeking to subdivide a 400 foot frontage lot, known as the Dunes Hotel, for the <br /> purpose of subdividing the property into one 300 foot lot frontage and with one lot with 100 foot of <br /> frontage which will be combined with additional properties to the north with a unity of title. Under <br /> certain platting requirements the City is still under Chapter 28 of the Code of Miami Dade. The <br /> requested waiver will not require any dedication of roads, highways, streets, alleys or easements and <br /> merely requires the drawing of a straight line running eastward from Collins Avenue to the ocean. <br />
