Russo, City Manager C-I5 ales-k) <br /> DATE: June 19, 2003 <br /> RE: PURCHASE OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 215 191sT TERRACE <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached resolution entering into an <br /> agreement for the purchase of the vacant lot at 215 191st Terrace, in the terms and conditions as <br /> set forth in the attached contract. <br /> REASONS <br /> Many months ago, some residents came to a Commission meeting and asked that we pursue the <br /> open land around the park. As such, the City became interested in expanding the Golden Shores <br /> Park so that we may be able to provide more amenities for our residents. Adjacent/surrounding <br /> property sites were viewed and considered as possibilities. <br /> The vacant lot at 215 191st Terrace is a property that will meet the needs of the City by doubling <br /> the size of the existing park.
