<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003- SS-D <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE RELEASE OF A <br />DECLARATION OF USE FOR THE TANGIERS MOTEL, ATTACHED <br />HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE <br />THE RELEASE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO <br />ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a request has been made for the release of a Declaration of Use imposed <br />upon the Tangiers Motel situated at 18695 Collins Avenue, a/kIa 18683 Collins Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Declaration of Use was recorded in the official records of Miami-Dade <br />as part of a prior zoning approval issued by Miami-Dade; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the request and has no objection to the request. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Release of Declaration. The City Commission hereby releases the Declaration of <br />Use imposed upon the Tangiers Motel, which was recorded in the Official Records Book 13083 <br />at Page 423-425, provided the Tangiers Motel is no longer in operation. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authority of Mayor. The City Commission hereby gives the Mayor the authority <br />to execute the release of the Declaration of Use and authorizing the City Manager to do all things <br />necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
