<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003- 595 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING A CONSIGNMENT <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND <br />A TLANTIC BUS LEASING, INC., TO DISPOSE OF SHUTTLE BUS NO. <br />9910, A 22-PASSENGER EURO-LITE LEGACY SHUTTLE BUS, WITH <br />THE CONDITION THAT ATLANTIC BUS SALES WILL PURCHASE <br />THE BUS AFTER 150 DAYS IF NO OTHER OFFER IS MADE; <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br />NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF THIS RESOLUTION: <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach desires to dispose of Shuttle Bus No. 9910; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Atlantic Bus Leasing, Inc., has submitted a Consignment Agreement to <br />dispose of the bus on the condition that if no other offer is made after 150 days, then Atlantic <br />Bus Leasing, Inc., will purchase the bus; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach wishes to enter into the Consignment <br />Agreement with Atlantic Bus Leasing, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approval of Consignment Agreement. The City Commission hereby approves the <br />Consignment Agreement between the City and Atlantic Bus Leasing, Inc., to dispose of Shuttle <br />Bus No. 9910, on the condition that Atlantic Bus Leasing, Inc., will purchase the bus if no offer <br />is made after 150 days. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization of Mayor. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate the terms of this resolution. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
