<br />Section 5. Voter Registration. Registration of persons desiring to vote in said General <br />Election shall be in accordance with the general laws of the State of Florida governing voter <br />registration. Qualified persons may obtain registration forms to vote at the Office of the City <br />Clerk, City Hall, Suite 250, 17070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, 33160, Monday <br />through Friday, except legal holidays, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and at such <br />other voter registration centers and during such times as may be provided by the Miami-Dade <br />County Supervisor of Elections. Each person desiring to become a registered voter shall be <br />responsible for properly filling out the registration form and returning it to the Miami-Dade <br />County Elections Office. All completed registration forms must be received by the Miami-Dade <br />County Elections Office and clocked in no later than Monday, October 4,2004, at 5:00 p.m., for <br />the General Election, in order for a person to vote in said election. All questions concerning voter <br />registration should be directed to the Miami-Dade County Elections Office, 2700 NW 87th <br />Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33172; telephone: (305) 499-8683. <br /> <br />Section 6. Polling Places. That said polling places in the City of Sunny Isles Beach for said <br />Special Election shall be as established by the proper and appropriate Miami-Dade County <br />Supervisor of Elections and her staff of officials. All electors shall vote at the polling places and <br />the voting precincts in which the OFFICIAL REGISTRATION BOOKS show that the said <br />electors reside. A list of the voting precincts and the polling places therein (subject to change by <br />the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections, in accordance with the laws of Florida) is <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "B". <br /> <br />Section 7. Copies of Resolution and Ordinance on File. Copies of this Resolution and the <br />Ordinance providing for the Charter amendments, subject to this referendum approval, are on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, located at 17070 Collins <br />A venue, Suite 250, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160, and will be available for public inspection <br />during regular business hours. <br /> <br />Section 8. Utilization of Miami-Dade County, The City Clerk is authorized to utilize the <br />services of the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections for any assistance required in the <br />administration of this election. <br /> <br />Section 9. <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
