<br /> <br />/ <br />/ <br /> <br />SECTION 00800 <br /> <br />SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS <br /> <br />The following supplements modify, change from or add to the Standard General Conditions of the <br />Construction Contract, EJCDC Document 1910-8, 1996 Edition. Where any Article of the General <br />Conditions is modified or any Paragraph, Subparagraph or Clause thereof is modified or deleted by these <br />supplements, the unaltered provisions shall remain in effect. <br /> <br />ARTICLE I - DEFINITIONS AND TERMINOLOGY <br /> <br />Add the following sentence to 1.28 Notice of Award: "When requested by OWNER, the Notice of Award <br />may be issued by the ENGINEER." <br /> <br />Add the following sentence to 1.29 Notice to Proceed: "When requested by OWNER, the Notice to <br />Proceed may be issued by ENGINEER." <br /> <br />Add the following terms after Paragraph 1.50: <br /> <br />1.51 ARCHITECT/ENGINEER - The person, firm or corporation named as the ENGINEER in the <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />1.52 Provide - As used in the Project Manual, means to furnish and install, complete and ready for <br />intended use. <br /> <br />1.53 Product - As used in the Project Manual, includes materials, fabrications, systems and equipment. <br /> <br />1.54 Project Manual - The volume of written construction documents, including the Bidding Documents, <br />sample forms, and the Contract Documents, such as the Conditions of the Contract and the Specifications. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 - PRELIMINARY MA TIERS <br /> <br />Add the following to Paragraph 2.01.: "If the Work is to be commenced prior to execution of the <br />Agreement in response to a letter of intent, CONTRACTOR shall, prior to commencement of the Work, <br />submit evidence satisfactory to OWNER that such bonds will be furnished." <br /> <br />In the first line of Paragraph 2.02., change the term "...ten..." to read "...six...". <br /> <br />Delete Paragraph 2.03. and replace with the following: <br /> <br />2.03. The date of commencement of the Work is the date established in a Notice to Proceed. If there is <br />no Notice to Proceed, it shall be the date of the OWNER-CONTRACTOR Agreement or such other date <br />as may be established therein. <br /> <br />Add the following to Paragraph 2.05.: <br /> <br />D.
