<br />181 ST ACTIVE PARK <br /> <br />APRIL 10, 2005 <br /> <br />SECTION 00800 <br />SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS <br /> <br />The following supplements modify, change from or add to the Standard General Conditions of <br />the Construction Contract, EJCDC Document 1910-8, 1996 Edition. Where any Article of the <br />General Conditions is modified or any Paragraph, Subparagraph or Clause thereof is modified <br />or deleted by these supplements, the unaltered provisions shall remain in effect. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 1 - DEFINITIONS AND TERMINOLOGY <br /> <br />Add the following sentence to 1.28 Notice of Award: "When requested by OWNER, the Notice <br />of Award may be issued by the ENGINEER. n <br /> <br />Add the following sentence to 1.29 Notice to Proceed: "When requested by OWNER, the Notice <br />to Proceed may be issued by ENGINEER. n <br /> <br />Add the following terms after Paragraph 1.50: <br /> <br />1.51 ARCHITECT/ENGINEER - The person, firm or corporation named as the ENGINEER in <br />the Agreement. <br /> <br />1.52 Provide - As used in the Project Manual, means to furnish and install, complete and ready <br />for intended use. <br /> <br />1.53 Product - As used in the Project Manual, includes materials, fabrications, systems and <br />equipment. <br /> <br />1.54 Project Manual - The volume of written construction documents, including the Bidding <br />Documents, sample forms, and the Contract Documents, such as the Conditions of the Contract <br />and the Specifications. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 - PRELIMINARY MATTERS <br /> <br />Add the following to Paragraph 2.01.: "If the Work is to be commenced prior to execution of the <br />Agreement in response to a letter of intent, CONTRACTOR shall, prior to commencement of the <br />Work, submit evidence satisfactory to OWNER that such bonds will be furnished. n <br /> <br />In the first line of Paragraph 2.02., change the term "...ten..." to read "...six... n. <br /> <br />Delete Paragraph 2.03. and replace with the following: <br /> <br />2.03. The date of commencement of the Work is the date established in a Notice to Proceed. If <br />there is no Notice to Proceed, it shall be the date of the OWNER-CONTRACTOR Agreement or <br />such other date as may be established therein. <br /> <br />Add the following to Paragraph 2.05.: <br /> <br />D. CONTRACTOR shall perform no portion of the Work at any time without Contract <br />Documents or, where specified, approved Shop Drawings for such portion of the Work. <br /> <br />SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS <br /> <br />00800-1 <br />
