Wherever a proposed substitute product has not <br />been submitted within said 30-day period, or wherever the submission of a proposed <br />substitute product fails to meet the requirements of the specifications and an acceptable <br />resubmitta1 is not received by the ENGINEER within said 30-day period, the <br />CONTRACTOR shall furnish only one of the products originally-named in the Contract <br />Documents. <br /> <br />1.04 ABBREVIATION <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Wherever in these specifications references are made to the standards, specifications, or <br />other published data of the various national, regional, or local organizations, such <br />organizations may be referred to by their acronyms or abbreviation only.
