<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />STREET SWEEPING SERVICE AGREEMENT <br />CONTRACT NO. K05-22 <br /> <br />THIS SERVICE AGREEMENT made and entered into this ~ ~ day of <br />~buL. 2005, by and between the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of Florida, (hereinafter referred as to "City") and <br />SWEEPING CORPORATION OF AMERICA, INC., a Florida corporation, authorized to do <br />business in the State of Florida, (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor"), whose Federal I.D.# is <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Oakland Park issued Invitation for Bids No. B081303 for Street <br />Sweeping Services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor submitted a bid for Services at a rate of $26 per curb mile; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor was awarded the contract for said services ("Services") with the <br />City of Oakland Park and executed a contract with the term of two years, and two options for the <br />City the City of Oakland Park to renew the agreement for additional two year periods and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City is in need of a contractor to provide said Services for <br />approximately within the City limits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the City's procurement code provisions purchases made under <br />state, county or other governmental contracts or competitive bids with other governmental <br />agencies shall be exempt from the City's competitive bidding procedures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Contractor is qualified, willing and able to provide the desired Services <br />at the same rate, terms and conditions set forth herein; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to employ Contractor to provide Services more particularly <br />described in shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> <br />NOW THERFORE, in consideration of the premises and the mutual covenants herein <br />named, the parties hereto agree as set forth below: <br /> <br />1. RECITALS. The Recitals set forth above are hereby incorporated into this Agreement <br />and made a part of hereof for reference. <br /> <br />2. SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED. Contractor shall perform the following Services <br />more particularly described in shown in Exhibit "A" and "B," attached hereto and ~art <br />hereof. The total price for these services shall not exceed $40,0000 annually payable: _ 0 <br />as invoiced. <br /> <br />3. TERM. Subject to the provisions relating to the termination of this Agreement as set <br />forth in Paragraph 10 hereunder, the term of this Agreement shall commence upon execution by <br /> <br />Street Sweeping Agreement <br /> <br />SIB <br />
