Watts, Director (1jW <br />Public Works Department U <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />March 16, 2006 <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />A1C MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approve an agreement with Southeast <br />Mechanical Contracts, Inc. for the maintenance of the multiple air conditioning systems <br />located within the Government Center. <br /> <br />REASON (S): <br />Not only was Southeast Mechanical the lowest bid, they were the company responsible <br />for the installation of all our equipment. This agreement is in the amount of $21,789.95, <br />with two one-year renewal options. Other bidders were Ed Helms A1C and Gold Coast <br />Mechanical. <br /> <br />OTHER INFORMATION: <br />The City will purchase the needed filters and install them ourselves.
