<br />Tourism is Miami-Dade County's biggest industry with an estimated 10.4 million visitors in 2005 <br />contributing to more than 50 percent of the area's economy. Aviation and related industries are <br />responsible for another large segment of the economy. The garment industry ranks third in the <br />nation after New York and Los Angeles.
