John Szerlag, City Manager <br /> <br />FROM: ~d--KMaas, Chief of Police <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />December 14, 2006 <br /> <br />Authorization to Apply For, Receive and Expend Grant Money from the U.S. <br />Department of Justice through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, <br />Justice Assistant Grant (JAG) for Purchase of a Weather Tracking Station. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approve a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to <br />apply for, receive, and expend monies from the U.S. Department of Justice through the Florida <br />Department of Law Enforcement, Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) in the amount of $3,811.00. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />Using the funds provided by the U.s.
