<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH,
<br />FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES
<br />BEACH AD VALOREM TAX MILLAGE LEVY RATE AT 2.95
<br />MILLS PER ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) OF
<br />TAXABLE ASSESSED VALUE WHICH IS 23% GREATER
<br />THAN THE "ROLLED BACK" RATE OF 2.400 MILLS, FOR
<br />FISCAL YEAR 2006/2007; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
<br />DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County, Florida, served upon the City of
<br />Sunny Isles Beach a "Certification of2006 Taxable Value"; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 200.065, F.S., the City of Sunny Isles Beach furnished the
<br />County Property Appraiser the proposed millage rate, and the date, time and place at which public
<br />hearings will be held to consider the proposed millage rate and tentative budget; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on September 14, 2006, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2006-
<br />963, establishing tentatively the proposed ad valorem tax millage levy rate at 2.95 mills per One
<br />Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) of taxable assessed value.

<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. Establish the Millage Rate. The millage rate is hereby established as 2.95 per One
<br />Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) of assessed property value in the City of Sunny Isles Beach. The
<br />millage reflected is 23% greater than the "rolled back" rate of 2.400 mills, for Fiscal Year
<br />2006/2007.
<br />
<br />Section 2.
<br />
<br />Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
<br />
<br />PASSED AND ADOPTED on this 28'h day of September, 2006, at ~: 3' p.m.
