Hines, City Clerk <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and Gty Commission <br /> <br />A John Szerlag, Gty Manager \J <br />Susan Simpson, Cultural & Human Services Dire~' <br />September 21, 2006 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF NAME AND LOCATION OF BEAGI ACCESS <br />DEDICATION SIGN <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the Gty Commission adopt the attached resolution approving the name and <br />location of a beach access dedication sign. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />At the June 15, 2006 Commission meeting, it was established that the City Commission wished to <br />dedicate certain beach accesses. It is proposed by Vice Mayor Roslyn Brezin, and before you now <br />for your approval, to name the beach access located at 189 Street and Collins Avenue in honor of <br />Cecile Sippin. <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> <br />This dedication is in honor of Cecile's service to the city by serving on many City Committees <br />including the Gtizen's Planning Advisory Committee and as Chairperson of the Traffic and Safety <br />Committee of the Mayor's Advisory Council. <br />
