<br />. . <br /> <br />" . <br /> <br />GOLDEN BEACH, FLORIDA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1555.04 <br /> <br />A RllSOLUTION OF TIlE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF <br />GOLDENBEACH,FLORIDAAUTHORIZlNG AND APPROvn-lG <br />THE TOWN TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH GRAPH- <br />PLEX CORPORATION FOR REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING <br />STREeT AND DlRECTIONAL SIONAOE IN THE TOWN OF <br />GOWEN BEACH IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCJSED <br />580,000.00; PROVIDING FOR SEVBRABlUTY; PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFlJCT; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Golden Beach Code of Ordinances See, 2-266 provides alternate <br />pUI'Cllasing procedures provided the Town acquires goOd8, mllterillls or services obtained from or <br />thrlJDab the Federal Government, State, COUllty, or other municipalities ti'om adYerlised bid lisle or <br />procedlll'e$ adopted by competitive bidding: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as & result of procedures adopted by other local government entities, Graph- <br />P1ex Corporation submitted propoBBls and was sele~d by such entity to provide street and <br />directi~na] signage; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town Manager haI determined that Graph.Plex Corporation submitted bids <br />that qualifY llllder Town Code See, 2-266. <br /> <br />NOW TBEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BYTHE TOWN COUNCIL OFTHE TOWN <br />OF GOLDEN BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Secdoa 1. That the Town Council hereby authorizes ep.d approves the scope of wc:nk III <br />contained In Ellhibit "A" with Graph-Plex Corporation In an amount not to exceed $80,000.00. <br /> <br />Semoa 2. That the Mayoris hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with Graph-Plex <br />Corporation for the I'I]llacement of the Town's stnlet and directional signage.
