Hines, City Clerk <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />The Honorable City Commission ~ <br /> <br />Jorge Vera, Assistant City Manager .:1-- <br /> <br />January 19,2006 0 <br /> <br />Redesign Active Park Project - Interlocal Agreement between <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach and Miami-Dade County <br /> <br />RECOMMENDA TION <br /> <br />This Resolution is presented for your consideration and approval. <br /> <br />REASONS <br /> <br />This Resolution approves the execution of an interlocal agreement between the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach and Miami-Dade County for the receipt and expenditure of Building Better <br />Communities General Obligation Bond Program (BBC GOB Program) funds for the construction <br />of the Redesign Active Park Project. <br /> <br />The recreation/community center and various park facilities which comprise Sunny Isles Beach's <br />Redesign Active Park Project, will act as a forum to host various sporting and cultural events. <br /> <br />The total cost of the project is estimated at over $7,000,000 and Miami-Dade County has <br />approved and allocated funds in the amount of $347,000 from the BBC GOB Program. <br /> <br />PSJ/pr <br /> <br />Agenda Item <br />Date <br /> <br />City Comffilssian <br />Redesign :\Ctl\'" Park ""lema <br />
