<br />2.3.6.1 Engineering Design - Site Survey <br />Description: The purpose of this task is to assess the infrastructural and wireless characteristics <br />of the City and develop an effective access point placement design based on the collected <br />information. Site surveys and RF analysis will be conducted to obtain this input information. <br /> <br />The major sub tasks are: <br /> <br />1, Overall Wireless System Survey Planning <br />2, On Site Survey for Backhaul and Multipoint <br />3. WiFi Mesh Planning Survey <br />4. Survey & Design Review <br /> <br />2.3.6.2 Overall Wireless System Survey Planning <br />. Collect all information from City recording all available facilities, network connections and <br />areas to be covered <br />. Map mounting assets and buildings for the area <br />. Review design with the City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> <br />2.3.6.3 On Site Survey for Backhaul and Multipoint <br />. Survey each location for LOS to adjacent location or mounting asset <br />. Identify mounting requirements, and review with facilities manager if possible <br /> <br />2.3.6.4 WiFi Mesh Planning Survey <br />. Perform Detailed Site Survey for WIFI via onsite survey of each location for LOS to other <br />mesh and gateway locations <br />. Develop WiFi Hot Spot Prioritization <br />. Develop Coverage Reports <br />. Identify mounting requirements <br />. Identify power, grounding, RF and network connections <br /> <br />2.3.6.5 Survey and Design Review <br /> <br />IBM will deliver and review the Wireless Survey & Design Report to the City of Sunny Isles Beach, <br />reporting on the tasks described above.
