Grandinetti, Police Captain <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />January 18, 2007 <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Approval to Purchase Eight (8) Crown Victoria Police Vehicles and <br />associated equipment not to exceed $235,776. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached resolution authorizing the City <br />Manager to purchase eight (8) Ford Crown Victoria Police Vehicles and associated equipment <br />not to exceed $235,776.00. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />The Sunny Isles Beach Police Department rotates a portion of the police fleet annually to assure <br />the safety and reliability of its equipment to our officers. These eight (8) vehicles will be <br />purchased from Duval Ford under the Florida Sheriffs Association, Florida Association of <br />Counties & Florida Fire Chiefs' Association's Contract Bid # 06-14-0821.
