<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
<br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,: APPROVING THE UNIFORM
<br />SIGN PLAN SUBMITTED BY, R.K. SUNNY ISLES BOULEVARD
<br />CENTER., FOR THE SHOPPING PLAZA LOCATED AT 151
<br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH BOULEVARD, SUITES 151 THRU 185,
<br />ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDING THE CITY
<br />MANAGER WITH THE AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS
<br />NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF THIS
<br />RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on February 16, 2006, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 2006-
<br />244, amending Article IX of the Land Development Regulations of the City of Sunny Isles Beach
<br />relating to Sign Regulations; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2006-244 (commonly known as the Sign Code) established a
<br />requirement for multi-tenant shopping centers to submit a uniform sign plan for the approval of
<br />the City Commission; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, under the Sign Code, all signs in multi-tenant plazas must be uniformed in
<br />terms of illumination, material, fabrication, sign area, and terms of color; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, RK Sunny Isles Boulevard Center, has submitted a uniform sign plan for
<br />shopping plazas located at 15 I Sunny Isles Beach Boulevard, Suites 15 I,
<br />155,157,159,161,163,167,169,171,173,175,177,179,181,183, and 185, attached hereto as Exhibit
<br />"A", for City Commission approval; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning staff has reviewed the plans submitted and finds
<br />that the plans are in compliance with the Sign Code, specifically Section 265-580),
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />Section I. Approval of Uniform Sign Plan. The Uniform Sign Plan submitted by, R.K
<br />Sunny Isles Boulevard Center, has submitted a uniform sign plan for the shopping plaza located
<br />at 151 Sunny Isles Beach Boulevard, Suite 151 thru 185, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", be, and
<br />the same, is hereby approved,
<br />
<br />Section 2. Authorization of City Manager, The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all
<br />things necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution,
<br />
<br />Section 3,
<br />
<br />Effectiye Date, This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
