On June 6, 2006 <br />the Board of County Commissioners approved an ordinance that <br />eliminates the County's procurement procedures when implementing <br />Building Better Communities Bond Program project(s) for municipalities <br />and certain non-profit groups. <br /> <br />Any expenses incurred on the project(s) on or after July 20, 2004 are <br />eligible for reimbursement. I urge you to complete the necessary forms <br />and submit them to us to expedite reimbursement. As part of the overall <br />process, we also ask that you periodically send us progress photographs <br />of your project(s) and provide a monthly update for us to include on our <br />website. Please be aware our Administration Rules require an annual <br />independent audit of the Building Better Communities General Obligation <br />Bond funds to be submitted by all Recipients to the County Manager's <br />Office no later than six months after the close of the Recipient's fiscal <br />year for which a Funding Allocation was received and each year <br />thereafter until Project completion. <br /> <br />Kindly return the City's signed Amendment One to me in order for the <br />County to countersign them.
