Policy Guidelines <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approve this resolution and the attached Sponsorship <br />and Advertisements Poliry Guidelines. These policy guidelines provide the framework for staff to operate <br />when soliciting sponsorships for city-sponsored events, and when advertising those sponsorships. <br /> <br />Background <br />The Cultural & Human Services Department surveyed nine communities in South Florida (a copy of <br />the survey is attached). Four of these communities had no written policy; five shared their policy, <br />which ranged from a single statement to a resolution.
