<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007- J 12~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AI)PROVING A <br />CONTRIBUTION OF FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) TO <br />TEMPLE B'NAI ZION; PROVIDING FOR THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO <br />EFFECTUATE TIUS RESOLUTION; AND PROVIDING FOR <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is celebrating its 10th year anniversary; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Temple B 'nai Zion is an integral part of the City of Sunny Isles Beach and <br />has participated in many City events; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Temple B'nai Zion provided a luncheon for the City's Sister City Netanya, <br />Israel and staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City if grateful for its involvement in this community and wishes to <br />make a donation, in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), to Temple B'nai Zion. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section I. Authorization of Donation. The City Commission hereby authorizes a donation in <br />the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) to Temple B'nai Zion. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization of Citv Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate this Resolution <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
