<br />adopt its own school-related element provisions. If a City adopts its own <br />school-related element provisions, any qoal, obiective, policy or other <br />provision relevant to the establishment and maintenance of a uniform <br />district-wide public school concurrency system shall be substantially the <br />same as its counterpart in the County comprehensive plan and other <br />Cities' comprehensive plans. If any school-related element amendment is <br />proposed that deviates from the uniform district-wide public school <br />concurrency system, it shall not become effective until the last party <br />adopts it into its comprehensive plan. Such proposals shall be forwarded <br />to the Staff Workinq Group for review, and the adoption of any such <br />chanqes shall be timed to coincide with the County's comprehensive plan <br />amendment cycle. Once each City and the County have adopted such a <br />plan amendment and these amendments have all become effective, then <br />the new requirement shall apply countywide. Each City and the County <br />may adopt the District Facilities Work Proqram into its comprehensive plan <br />either by reference or by restatement of the relevant portions of that <br />Facilities Work Proqram, but in no event shall a City or the County attempt <br />to modify that Facilities Work Program. The County and Cities aqree to <br />coordinate the timinq of approval of school-related element amendments, <br />to the extent that it is feasible to do so. To the extent that a proposed <br />school-related element amendment is inconsistent with this Amended and <br />Restated Aqreement, an amendment to this Aqreement shall also be <br />required before the amended element becomes effective. <br /> <br />(d) Evaluation and Appraisal Report: In addition to the other coordination <br />procedures provided for in this Amended and Restated Aqreement, at the <br />time of the Evaluation and Appraisal Report, the County and Cities shall <br />schedule at least one Staff Workinq Group meetinq with the School Board <br />to address needed updates to the school-related comprehensive plan <br />provisions. <br /> <br />Section 4. School Site Selection, SiQnificant Renovations, and Potential <br />School Closures <br /> <br />4.1 The School Board staff has amended shall endeavor to em::ure rule <br />making proceedings arc completed by the May 14, 2003 meeting, so that <br />final reading is given to the amendment to rRule 6Gx13-2C-1.083, Section <br />II.D. Membership, to expand the membership of its standing School Site <br />Planning and Construction Committee (SSPCC) by four voting members <br />as follows: "a floating member" designated by the City Manager of the <br />most impacted municipality to which the agenda item relates whenever an <br />agenda item concerns any incorporated area of Miami-Dade County, or if <br />it concerns an unincorporated area, this "floating member" shall be from <br />the geographically nearest municipality most impacted by the agenda <br />item; a representative selected by the Miami-Dade County League of <br />Cities; a Miami-Dade County representative selected by the County <br /> <br />10 <br />
