<br />(elementarv, middle, hiqh) and provide an equitable distribution of student enrollment <br />district-wide. <br /> <br />Permanent School District Facilities: An area within a school that provides instructional <br />space for the maximum number of students in core-curricula courses which are assiqned <br />to a teacher based on the constitutional amendment for class size reduction and is not <br />moveable. <br /> <br />Permanent Student Station: The floor area in a permanent classroom required to <br />house a student in an instructional program, as determined by the FDOE. <br /> <br />Proportionate Share Mitigation: An Applicant improvement or contribution identified in <br />a bindinq and enforceable aqreement between the Applicant. the School Board and the <br />Local Government with iurisdiction over the approval of the plat. site plan or functional <br />equivalent provide compensation for the additional demand on public school facilities <br />caused by the residential development of the property, as set forth in Section <br />163.3180(13)(e), F.S. <br /> <br />Public School Facilities: Facilities for the education of children from pre-kinderqarten <br />throuqh twelfth qrade operated by the School District. <br /> <br />School Board: The qoverninq body of the School District. a political subdivision of the <br />State of Florida and a body corporate pursuant to Section 1001.40, F.S. <br /> <br />School District of Miami-Dade County: The School District created and existing <br />pursuant to Section 4, Article IX of the State of Florida Constitution. <br /> <br />Student Generation Multiplier (SGM): A rate used to calculate the number of students <br />by school type (elementary, middle, hiqh) and housing type (sinqle-family, multifamilv, <br />etc.) that can be anticipated from a new residential development. <br /> <br />Type of School: Schools providinq the same level of education, i.e. elementary, middle, <br />hiqh school, or other combination of grade levels. <br /> <br />Utilization: A ratio showinq the comparison of the total number of students enrolled to <br />the overall capacity of a public school facilitv within a Concurrencv Service Area (CSA). <br /> <br />42 <br />
